What are "Friends" in the Safe@AllStar App?
The Safe@AllStar App give you the ability to add other app users as “friends” so they can send and receive alerts on your athletes’ behalf
What is a "friend"?
A “friend” is an app user that you assign to one or more of your athletes. A “friend” by default can send and receive yellow alerts on an athlete’s behalf, however you must give a “friend” specific permissions for them to be able to send a red alert. How do I add a "friend" to my athletes?
After registering on the app and creating your athlete profile, take the following actions:
- Tap “My Athletes”
- Then, tap the athlete that you would like to assign a friend to
- After that, tap “Friends”
- Tap “Add Friend”
- Then, type in the email address of the user you would like to add as a “friend”
- Decide whether or not you want the “friend” to be able to send “Red Alerts” (You can learn more about Red and Yellow Alerts here)
- Tap “Save”
